Rivermist lay in the warrior den tired from a long day of hunting the other night. She went outside to find the sweet scent of the cool air.

Dapplepaw came out of the apprentices den after making herself a nest. She was finally an apprentice! She shivered and a blast of fridged wind blew acrossed her face and she puffed out her fur to keep warm. The stone of the cave floor was cold but she knew that if she kept walking her paws would get use to it. She looked around and spotted Rivermist comming out of the warriors den and waved her tail in greeting before bounding over.

"Hello Dapplepaw! Congratulations!" Rivermist pawed at the soft earth. "I hope to find some prey. I'm starving!" Rivermist's stomach growled.

"Thanks" She purred to her and looked around. Outside snow fell quietly on the already belly high amount on the ground. She shivered again and shook her head. "Do you want to go hunting? I could ask Poppyfire if I can go with you." she suggested and hoped her mentor would allow her to go.

Poppyfire stepped out of tge warriors den. Her half tail barely tutched the ground as she walked out. The cream colored warrior streached and yawned then shook snow from her silky pelt. Poppyfire blinked her dark eyes and walked over to Rivermist and Dapplepaw.
