Poppyfire waited for her new apprentice, Dapplepaw. She was her first apprentice, and she wanted to do a good job. "Dapplepaw!" Poppyfire yowled for her apprentice.

Dapplepaw's head went up and her ears pricked as she heard her mentor yowl her name. She got up quickly and shook herself before running to Poppyfire as fast as she could. "Im here!" She called and tried to stop only to skid on ice infront of her mentor. She ears burned with embarrassment as she dug her claws in to steady herself. Her fur was slightly fluffed do to the cold, her hurry, and her embarrassment. She looked up at her mentor. "Hi"

Poppyfire looked down at Dapplepaw with raised brows. "Dapplepaw," she mewed to the young apprentice. "Are you ready to train?" she asked her fur flat against her skin.

Dapplepaw gave her fur a few quick licks to smooth it then looked up nodding "Of course"

Poppyfire nodded her head slightly "Good," she mewed "Then let's go," the warrior mewed turning signaling with her tail for the apprentice to follow behind her.

Dapplepaw followed her mentor quietly shivering as a fridged wind tugged at her coat. The snow was packed high but she followed in Poppyfires tracks for the time being and looked around the frozen land she called home her eyes lit with excitement.

Poppyfire stopped in her tracks and turned around facing her apprentice. They would practice battle. It would be two hard to try and hung at the moment with all the wind and snow.

Dapplepaw heard her mentor stop and turn and looked back at her curiously. She stopped too and waited for her mentor to announce what they were about to do. I hope I do well
