A older Queen stepped out of the camp and took a deep breath. Her light brown chest grew big and then decreased in size as she released the breath. "My this is a wonderful day," Forestsong said with a smile. The only thing missing is someone to enjoy it with.

Hawkscar approached Forestsong. He dipped his head in greeting. "Hello Forestsong." He said, his voice deep.

The brown Queen turned her blue gaze to the dark pelted deputy. He greeted her with his normal deep toned voice, that matched his dark fur, "Hello Hawkscar." The Queen spoke in a light and bright voice. "May I ask you for a favor, if you are not to busy of course."

"No, I am not busy at the moment." He said. It was a rare time when the deputy wasn't busy. Now that his apprentice was a warrior, he had much more free time. His green eyes examined the queen. "What is it that you need?"

The Queen grinned, "I was looking for a strong warrior to executor me on a walk." Forestsong could go on a walk herself, but what fun is it to be alone.

Hawkscar smiled. "I would be happy to." He said. "May I ask where we shall be walking to?" (lazy)

Forestsong cooked her head to the side as she thought, "I don't know." Forestsong was going to let her paws take her were ever but was that a good idea.

Hawkscar shrugged. "Go ahead and lead the way." He said prepared to follow her. The tom took in a deep breath and enjoyed the smells of the forest.

Forestsong gave the Deputy a warm smile then started into the territory. She matched her steps with his so that it would help them talk, "So Hawkscar, tell a Queen how it's like to be Deputy."

"Stressful. It's a lot of responsibility." Hawkscar said. "But I'm lucky to have a wonderful clan to help me. what is it like being a queen?" he wondered.

Forestsong didn't even haft to think of the question. "It's lots of fun. It brings me lots of joy seeing the Innocent little souls being so care free. It makes me proud when I see them becoming apprentices and then warriors, but the downside to it all is you really get no sleep," Forestsong said with a laugh.

Hawkscar smiled. He couldn't imagine what being a queen is like. It seemed even more challenging than being the leader itself. "Caring for all those kits must be exhausting." He said agreeing. He wondered, is caring for a clan more challenging or less than caring for a litter of kits.

Forestsong nodded in agreement. "Yes it is very taxing, but I love my job more then anything else in the world. I could not imagine myself doing anything else." Forestsong looked at Hawkscar and gave him a cheerful smile.

Hawkscar returned the smile. He couldn't imagine doing anything besides his best for his clan. "You must not ever get lonely." He said.

Forestsong's bright smile started to fade after he spoke of loneliness. "No, I do," The Queen spoke with a sad voice. Kit's were wonderful, but Forestsong some how grew more lonely each day. The kits filled that loneliness only for a short time.

Hawkscar didn't say anything. See what happens when you assume... He thought. The tom blinked. Being a deputy, you had the whole clan, but somehow he still felt seperate from them. He smiled at the queen. "It's odd, how lonely one can be, when there are so many around you."

Forestsong gave the Deputy a warm consituret smile, "You know Haekscar you are a wonderful tom to talk to." The Queen purred and looked at the landscape around her, "The reason being is because you seem to understand how I feel about these topics and well it's nice, but don't get me wrong I feel bad that you also feel lonely from time to time."

It's a good thing Hawkscar had fur. If not, his skin would be redder than a cherry. Compliments were a rare thing and to be treasured. "Thank you, Forestsong." He said, trying to hide a slightly embarrassed smile. He knew he should compliment her back, but words stopped processing in his mind. He just smiled at her sheepishly.

Forestsong gave a small giggle, "Your welcome Hawkscar." The she-cat knew she had praise him a little to much. More then he could handle.

Hawkscar smiled again. Then he realized he still had his deputy duties to attend to. "This has been wonderful, but I think we should probably be heading back." He said, reluctance creeping into his voice. He had enjoyed talking with the queen. "Shall we do it again some time?"

Forestsong gave the Deputy a sad child look, "Alright you must be a busy tom." The brown tabby Queen turned around and started back to the Camp. "Well Hawkscar I thank you for taking time out of your busy day to take a walk with me. Also you must come see me in the nursery we don't have many kits so I am always free, for now."
