Skyfur was walking to the nursery, she was the new queen, she wondered how they would welcome her. Her fur was glossy silver and her eyes where a beautiful blue like the sky. As she padded in she heard whispers, sighs, and purring she smiled and looked for a spot t put her nest.

The deputy walked around, his orange pelt shining under the glow of the sun. He spotted the new queen and he walked over, greeting her with a friendly meow. "Hi there, I'm Firestorm!" He said.

She nodded to Firestorm "Thanks" she said smiling at him, "Your name really fits you" i said looking at his orange pelt as she sun shone on it. It looked like a burst of flames blazing though the forest.

Firestorm shifted his paws. "Really? I don't know if it does. I think I should be more Firepelt instead of Firestorm, but thank you. So what is your name?"

I purred "I'm Skyfur that doesn't really fit at all i should have been named Skyeyes" i said smiling at him

Leopardpelt watched the queens and deputy. She hadn't been that talkative lately. The tabby queen padded out from her nest and up to the three.

I saw the other queen pad over to us, i dip my head to her "You must be Leopardpelt"i said smiling but then i turned my gaze back to Firetorm smiling

Firestorm was lost in Skyfur's gaze, then he looked away, embarressed. He was greatful when Leopardpelt came, and he meowed, "Hi, Leopardpelt!"

Skyfur smiled at Firestorm then turned back to Leopardpelt "Any kits yet?" I ask her. I start shuffling my paws wondering if Firestorm could tell me who i was sharing a den with.

"Leopardpelt doesn't have anykits yet," Firestorm told Skyfur. He dipped his head respectfully. "You might have kits soon, Skyfur." Then Firestorm looked away, embarressed.

I smile and turn my head away soon "Maybe if i find that someone" i tell him turning back to him i wasn't ready to tell him yet.

Firestorm wanted to tell her. But he couldn't. He was scared to death, and he wanted to just die. If he told her and she didn't like him, then that would suck, now wouldn't it? He turned back to her. "So have you enjoyed the weather?" He asked shyly.

"Yes, we can! I would love to," Firestorm meowed, then looked over at Leopardpelt. "Maybe we should take this outside?" He asked her.

Skyfurs eyes sparkled "I like you too Firestorm..I know we just met but theres something about you..."i say padding closer to him.

Firestorm felt his world explode into joy. He rubbed his muzzle along Skyfur's cheek, purring. "Even though we've just met, I can't help but notice how you are so like me, so special..." He breathed in her scent. "Will you be my mate?"

Firestorm wove around Skyfur even harder. She loved him! And he loved her. Kits soon...He stood up tall, then licked Skyfur on the ear. "I love you."
